The Biggest Loser is a life changing experience for the incredible contestants who take part and who become an inspiration to the whole of Australia.

Now it's time to change more lives forever as we prepare for our 4th series of the hit reality show to air in 2009.

In 2009 the contestants won't have to do it alone. In a groundbreaking change to the Australian format, this series will have couples competing against each other for the title and prize.

Last year, twin sisters Carrianne and Nicole were pitted against each other in opposing teams but were none-the-less spurred on by a healthy sibling rivalry and comforted by sisterly love: "Having my sister there made all the difference. Even though we were competing against each other, we were still supportive, and actually, it made me work even harder. We've always been quite competitive so if anything, having both of us there helped in the long run. It's a grueling and emotional journey and to be able to share it with someone close was great. It has made us realise
how different we are and made our bond even closer." says Nicole.
