    David The Biggest Loser 2010
    Date: 12/03/2010

The Commando’s taken a couple, which has made my life a bit easier around here.

    Hi,

I’m pretty tired at the moment. I’ve just finished a training session which went for about an hour and ten. It was probably the toughest training session I’ve been here. We’re down to the final six now, so we’re ramping it up.

My injuries are coming along well, but it was a tough session today.

I feel amazing. I feel like I’m 18 or 20 again, not 40. 40 is just a number. It’s been a good week for me. The Commando’s taken a couple, which has made my life a bit easier around here. It allows me to focus on my training and go hard, and try and survive.

I’m worried about the weigh-in, I’m probably the most nervous I’ve been for this weigh-in with only six of us left. Pretty much three and three votes, and if you’re below that yellow line and you’ve got the lowest percentage, then you’ll be sent home.

We all know we’ve come along way, it’s a good feeling. If you go home, it will be sad but I’ll get to see my wife and kids. It’s not all that bad! Everyone’s achieved so much, and to head home now, I would sit comfortably with what I’ve done in here.

I’ve come a long way - miles. I feel like a different person. For me, that old person, I don’t even know who that was. I think back all the time and I look at photos and wonder who that person is. I’m totally different, I’ve physically changed, mentally and emotionally I’m totally different. I’m happy, I’m not angry with the world or myself anymore. It’s a good place to be.

This has changed my life. I’m definitely a new person. I don’t know what my wife and my kids are going to say when I get home. I’ll be a totally different husband and dad. I can’t wait to get back to work and home. There are about 1350 boys at the South Port School; they might be in for a bit of a shock!

I just want to say hi to my lovely wife and gorgeous kids, I miss them to bits, but they know I’m in the right place. To all my friends out there, I love them to bits and can’t wait to see them. And I’m so appreciative of the people at work who are working harder than they normally would just to give me this opportunity.
