    Lisa The Biggest Loser 2010
    Date: 9/04/2010

It would be nice to have a female Biggest Loser this year but that wasn’t what I came here for.

    Hi,

I’m feeling really good. I’ve got a new injury with a tear in my Achilles and I have to wear a boot all the time, when training as well. That’s a bit of a setback but other than that, I’m good.

We’ve had more training, of course! There are only four of us left so there’s lots of pressure. We went dancing with Jason Coleman and a few of his troupe that were there, we got to dance which was fun. That was the first day in my boot, so that was quite entertaining. I still did it but it was very amusing, for them and for us! It was a good week.

There’s another weigh-in coming up and it will be interesting because people have come back from the marathon, so we’re competing against unknowns, really. There are five of us to weigh-in and only four of us will survive that, so it’s getting down to the wire.

Having Phoebe gone changed the house; it’s really quiet because she was such a pleasure to have around. I miss her terribly.

With Phoebe gone, I’m the last female in the house and that feels really strange. Lots of people keep putting it out there that they want a female Biggest Loser this year, and I’m just like, oh my God, I don’t need any more pressure than what I put on myself to stay each week! That’s a bit daunting. It would be nice to have a female Biggest Loser this year but that wasn’t what I came here for. My first goal is to be in my wedding dress. It’s just different being the only female, I think the boys think the fact that I’ve got the boot on that I’m going to be an easy target, so I’ll have to work really hard!

From day one I haven’t thought about the boys versus girls or anything, I’ve really tried to not enter into any of that. It’s a bit like the game play. I’ve tried to go, OK, I need to lose this much weight, I need to be below 70kg to try my wedding dress on - that’s my first goal and that’s what I’m striving for. I try not to think about the negative side - the boys are stronger, they’re probably faster – because really, at the end of the day, the only thing that keeps you here is the weigh-in. If you do well at the weigh-in and keep the weight off, you’re doing well. So I try not to worry about it too much. So far so good, which blows me away each week - I’m still here!
